Catch

He asks, less subtly, what is the meaning?

It’s true money doesn’t always fall from the ceiling

but he can’t beat the feeling.

You’ve made me seem that small).

His eye on the TV, the other on the phone,

I age painfully like an overdue loan,

Or a fed up, washed out crone.

(I’m a pretty picture on the wall,

I find empty space when I fall).
